Shallow Depth of Field:
The third photo of the top row shows a shallow depth of field. To create a shallow depth of field, I used an F stop of 4.5. The camera's white balance was set to fluorescent and ISO was 1600.
Large Depth of Field:
The second photo of the top row shows a large depth of field. To create a large depth of field, I used an F stop of 11. The white balance was set to auto and the ISO was 3200.
I think that the shallow depth of field photo is better because it is a more interesting shot that the lockers that are fully in focus. You would want a shallow depth of field when you are trying to focus on one thing rather than have a distracting background. A large depth of field would be better when everything needs to be in focus.
